Art Deco 1.25 Carat Transitional Cut Diamond Solitaire with Original Box and Receipt from 1932

This sensational original Art Deco ring is a true piece of history, complete with its original box and receipt dated 1932! The central Transitional Cut Diamond in set within a square frame with mill grain beading to the edges. Each shoulder is set with two Baguette Cut Diamonds and a smaller Brilliant Cut Diamond to the top of the band, each half bezel and grain set with a mill grain edge around each. The gallery features typical Art Deco geometric lines creating a real showstopper of a ring which oozes Art Deco charm and quality.

The central Transitional Cut Diamond has been calculated in the setting and is estimated to weigh 0.95 Carat. VS Clarity and G-H Colour. A stunning clear and bright Diamond. The shoulder Baguette Diamonds total approximately 0.25 Carat. VS Clarity and F-G Colour. The Brilliant Cut Diamonds on each shoulder total approximately 0.05 Carat. VS Clarity and F-G Colour. Total Diamonds weight is estimated at 1.25 Carat. The ring also comes complete with a European Diamond Reports (E.D.R) Certificate stating the carat weights and qualities of the Diamonds.

The ring comes together with its original seafoam blue heart shaped box with the jewellers it was originally purchased from, Stuhlbach & Son, printed inside the lid. The original receipt also accompanies the ring, which is truly rare. The receipt is dated 1932 and describes the ring as a 1ct perfect Diamond to the centre with four Baguette Diamonds to each shoulder and a further round Diamond to each shoulder and made in Platinum, with the purchase price of $265.
